What we need / Things to consider

  1. To access the session booking system you must first set up an account with us. This is very quick, simple, and only requires basic information. To register click here.
  2. If you want greater anonymity and security, I suggest that you use a new email account set up for the purpose, and get a pay as you go sim card for a spare phone, and take calls from me on this.
  3. Payment for sessions is through a dedicated payment portal and we have no access to any of your personal information, account details etc. They simply process the payment from you, inform us of this, and pass the payment on. We are linked to Stripe for online payments. Please note the payment page suggests that only credit cards are accepted. Both debit, and credit cards can be successfully used.
  4. There are no payments until actual sessions are being booked.
  5. We need you to provide a pen picture of your current situation and personal circumstances. Please click here to get a full explanation of what this entails, why we ask for it, and how it helps us to work with you, along with some examples, all of which are based on real world situations.
  6. We will contact you by email and provide a link to allow you to book actual sessions. These must be paid for at time of booking
  7. Please do not book more than one session until we have established good communication, and you are sure you wish to proceed with this service.
  8. You can book a shorter 25 minute taster session at a reduced price, but only once. This should be enough time to get a sense of whether we can work together, and that this will meet your needs. You can go straight into the full sessions if you wish to.

Some things to consider

  1. Spend some time and think about the major issues that are affecting your life. Try to focus on a limited number of these, and what you feel you would like to change, or speak about.
  2. Consider what you are hoping to gain from the sessions. This does not need to be absolutely fixed and clear from the outset, but having a sense of this would be helpful. What you would look to experience could be support, clarification, guidance, or perhaps to work on a deeper level, and to start to examine and evaluate your thinking  and behaviour patterns, and the nature of your life choices.
  3. Be open to new experiences, and ideas. Having sessions like these will always be much easier if you come into them with as little resistance as possible. It’s your life, and your choices. The more resistant you are to any form of change, the longer the process is likely to take.
  4. Try to let go of expectations. What you think will be said, what you will say, and how much progress can be made is down to a variety of factors. I do know that sessions very rarely go as people expect them to, but are nonetheless productive.
  5. Be open to the unexpected. Sometimes sessions can bring out strong emotions, or lead down paths that you had no idea were even an issue. There is often a vast difference between what people perceive as their problems, and what they actually turn out to be. But bear in mind that whatever happens, it will always be coming from you. I can only listen, enquire, and sometimes guide this process. I can and never will insert the content….that will always be entirely yours.
  6. There may be things that I will ask you to do between sessions. I would ask that you make an effort to do whatever has been asked. There will always be a good purpose to anything you are being asked to do.
  7. You need to create protected time. This means that the time you are going to be spending speaking to me should be free of interruptions, distractions etc.
