What kind of issues can be helped by sessions with you?

This list can be endless. For most people, the emotions they experience, and the issues they have, and continue to experience will often be a complete mishmash of different overlapping feeling and the thoughts that go with them. Most people will struggle to speak about these things, often because they struggle to make sense of all those thoughts and feelings themselves, so where do you start.

It is very common for people to have an overall sense of stress, dissatisfaction, unhappiness, confusion etc, without having a way to put a name to exactly what it is they are experiencing, or what is the underlying cause. I should add that this doesn't matter. You can bring anything that you need to, and hopefully make sense of things as you go along.

So I would say literally anything that is bothering you, especially when this is impacting on how you feel, how you are able to function, the decisions you make, the way you interact with other people, and the world around you. Any and all of these are reasons to engage with someone.

And this can be anything. Because the stuff in our head has a tendency to stay exactly where it is until we start to talk about it, get it out there, perhaps start to examine more closely..

But if you prefer this in more technical terms, anything from depression and anxiety to self esteem, self confidence and sense of self.

Coping with life and or work related stresses.

Making positive decisions about your life can be helped by speaking about them, thinking aloud, and to some degree seeking, and hearing the thoughts of others.

Overthinking, procrastinating and avoidance of life which frequently have a major impact upon many people's ability to function effectively.

Grief and bereavement.

Relationship and social issues

Managing irritability and anger issues.

And the list can go on.

But what I would say is that if you have found this site, and got this far, you will be the one to know what it is you are seeking help for...

And that's where it starts..

And yes, whatever it is, I can probably help..

 I'm afraid this is...

  • How the mental health services work today..or don’t in many cases.. -

    Many people are having to...

  • What if I don’t want regular sessions. I may want a few, then break, and pick up when it suits down the line, would this be ok?? -

    Whatever suits you is how...

  • What if I don’t want regular sessions. I may want a few, then break, and pick up when it suits down the line, would this be ok?? -

    Whatever suits you is how...

I do not offer any kind...

  • I am experiencing a very difficult time and struggling with my emotions and suicidal thoughts etc. Can I make contact with you whenever I need to, to help me through these times. -

     I'm afraid this is...

  • How the mental health services work today..or don’t in many cases.. -

    Many people are having to...

  • What if I don’t want regular sessions. I may want a few, then break, and pick up when it suits down the line, would this be ok?? -

    Whatever suits you is how...

    Definitely yes. But only...
